this song has an upbeat and optimistic feel. The positivity is an attractive aspect but the chord sequence is one that was used quite a lot in another era. Still, the song does not sound dated, the chant in the middle is fun and adds to the attraction for a listener but I feel overall the song could be more memorable.

A good sounding song generally with lots of colors and tonal ingredients but I feel the trumpet could have more reverb and fit better in the soundscape. In the intro it is a tad out of tune. Fine stuff though.

Overall Comments
Michael, the sound of your band has a color and personality that is appealing and attractive. The tone palette is well considered and includes some good choice of instrumentation. The trumpet and keyboards work especially well on the first song, ' 30 Lives', but on the second song, the trumpet doesn't quite meld with the other instrumentation as well. I feel less use of it and a touch more reverb and less relative level would fix this. The songs have good vocals but the chorus melodies could be stronger to really hit the ball out of the park as you have so many positive attributes to your performances and material. Analyze and study great hooks and choruses and try to gain insight into how you can create your own, I'm certain you can. Best of luck.
